Week 2

Day 8 – Sunday, May 26 – Pray for babies in NICU (Newborn Intensive Care Unit) and their care givers.

• Bible Verse: Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy. Matthew 5:7
• Prayer: Dear Lord, we thank you for the gift of life. We ask for the healing of the babies who are in the Newborn Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Give their parents grace in the hard times and the trials along the way. Provide them with financial, emotional, physical, and spiritual support during this time. Reveal to them You are the great provider.

Day 9 – Monday, May 27 – Prayer Focus: Pray for the loss of life due to all premature deaths.

• Bible Verse: Yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes. James 4:14
• Prayer: Lord God, we come to You and ask that You give Your peace and comfort to all who are mourning. This Memorial Day we remember those who have experienced an unexpected loss of life.

Day 10 – Tuesday, May 28 – Prayer Focus: Pray for children in danger of being trafficked and those who are being trafficked.

• Bible Verse: Deliver the poor and needy; Free them from the hand of the wicked. Psalm 82:4
• Prayer: Heavenly Father, I am praying for protection for all children. Please protect those that are in danger of being trafficked. God, I am praying for an end to trafficking. I pray those who are committing these sins be stopped. I pray for these children to be able to grow up and to love you and be used mightily by you.

Day 11 – Wednesday, May 29 – Prayer Focus: Pray for All 50 states to have Pro-Life protection laws in place.

• Bible Verse: For the kingdom is the Lord’s, And He rules over the nations. Psalm 22:28
• Prayer: Father, we pray today for you to raise up courageous leaders in the legislatures of our 50 states to pass Pro-Life protection laws. Give them the conviction and compassion to stand up for the innocent preborn children. We pray that people may realize that abortion is not about children who “might” come into the world, but is about children who are already in the world, living and growing in the womb, and are scheduled to be killed.  

Day 12 – Thursday, May 30 – Prayer Focus: Pray for the pharmaceutical companies making abortion pills.

• Bible Verses: Come now, you rich, weep and howl for your miseries that are coming upon you! Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are moth-eaten. Your gold and silver are corroded, and their corrosion will be a witness against you and will eat your flesh like fire. You have heaped up treasure in the last days. James 5:1–3
• Prayer: Lord, today we petition you to open the eyes and hearts of those who seek to profit from the intentional murder of innocent children. We pray that they may come under conviction and seek to save lives rather than kill. 

Day 13 – Friday, May 31 – Prayer Focus: Pray for pharmacy chains of CVS and Walgreens to cease dispensing abortion pills.

• Bible Verse: Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless... 2 Peter 3:14
• Prayer: Heavenly Father, we pray that pharmaceutical chains and their pharmacists would stand against the culture of death and stand for life. We pray that you would give them the moral courage to refuse to sell or distribute abortion medications. 

Day 14 – Saturday, June 1 – Praise Focus: Thank God for 50 years of faithful pro-life advocates.

• Bible Verses: For to this end we toil and strive, because we have our hope set on the living God, who is the Savior of all people, especially of those who believe. 1 Timothy 4:10
• Prayer: Thank you Heavenly Father for sending forth those who, for 50 years, have stood “in the gap” for Pro-Life efforts from the preborn child to those coming to the end of their natural lives. Continue to send forth those who will speak and act on behalf of these vulnerable lives.
